Fall Inspirations

4 months ago by Veronica Di Polo

Decorating for Fall, is one of my favorite seasons, because I love the color palette fall brings into our wardrobes, but also into our homes. I enjoy changing my living room from summer to fall, bringing out my throws, my plaid table top or my leather pillows to welcome the new season.

Fall is creativity, sometimes you only need to walk into your backyard or park and collect leaves to create wonderful arrangements all around your home.

It’s true that this year I have been quite busy with travelling and my fall decor won’t happen, but I still read and enjoy the different trends fall gives my brain, and I dream what I can do next year.

Here are some ideas for Fall

Your entrance

Don't stop at simply placing a pumpkin on your porch this season—use this fall staple to give the rest of your home a seasonal update, too.

Don't forget your bathroom

Your bathroom deserves a little fall flair too—keep it simple with a display of fall leaves and a tiny white pumpkin by the sink.

Light up your fireplace

If you're always thinking you don't use your fireplace enough, this fun decoration was made for you. Carve flames into pumpkins for a cozy atmosphere. Other option is put candles on your fireplace by choosing warm color candles to echo the fall season.

Dining al fresco

Take advantage of those clear days and not so chilly nights to entertain your friends and family. Set the mood by making your table feel as comfortable and cozy outside as inside your home by incorporating leaves, pumpkins, blankets and dried fruits into your table decor.

Table decor

Enjoy mixing and matching your fall patterns with other patterns is the same hue, create combinations of the same pattern in different colors like browns, yellows and mustard. Take inspiration from your flower arrangements and incorporate those colors into your food, glasses or candles.
